Tunis/Tunisia — “Tunisian women should restore their position in Africa,” said President of the National Union of Tunisian Women (French: UNFT) Radhia Jerbi.
At a press conference on the announcement of the organisation of the national meeting of African women enterpreneurs next May 20-21, Jerbi added that Tunisian women should play a more active role in addressing issues at the African level.
Jerbi spoke of the achievements made by Tunisian women in Africa as well as the challenges they face in the country.
The UNFT President called for building communication networks during the meeting scheduled in May, to capture new markets and seize new market opportunities in a bid to boost the national economy.
