Black Politics was created during Black History Month, 2014. Our purpose is to aggregate, from multiple sources, historical and contemporary materials about the recent and extended history of African-American politics and political activism in the US in one place, making it easy for our visitors to research and discuss this topic. Visitors are encouraged to submit their own original material or sources for consideration. Material submitted should include the author’s name as you want it displayed on the site. Submissions should be emailed to [email protected] using the title “Article for Submission”. If the article or post is an excerpt from a book or other previously published, or unpublished article, book, or manuscript, and you wish an attribution to that source, please include the pertinent information. The material referenced on this site does not necessarily reflect the opinions of Black Politics. We will make every effort to expand this site, constantly adding new material and sub-topics. Please feel free to offer your suggestions by leaving a comment here or by emailing us at: [email protected]
